Must be a Call Federal Credit Union member and primary account holder. Applicant must submit an essay or video about what the credit union can do to attract and service new members ages 18 – 26 years of age. See link for further details.
Must be a Mills E. Godwin senor who has consistently demonstrated positive values, character, and service to others. See high school guidance counselor for details.
Applicant should be a Junior or Senior who attends a Baptist church in Virginia. Essay required on a specific topic. Visit link for more information.
Must be graduating high school senior accepted to two or four year institution and a resident of greater Richmond area. Must have a minimum 2.2 GPA. See high school guidance counselor for application and additional information.
Must be graduating high school senior who has applied and/or been accepted to a community college, junior college, or technical or trade school. Parent or guardian must reside in 74th voting district or Varina or Hopewell. Application, personal statement and one leter of recommendation from non-family member required. Applicant must reside or attend school in service area East of Interstate 95 including Henrico, Charles City or New Kent and excluding the City of Richmond and Hanover. A minimum GPA of 2.5 calculated through 1/31/12 is required. Transcript, essay, personal statement and letters of recommendation are required. Must enroll in an accredited 2 or 4 yr. college/university in the fall.
Virginia applicants qualify to apply due to Nordstrom being located in Virginia. Applicant must have a 2.7 GPA, volunteer or participate in community services or extracurricular activities and plan on attending a four year college or university during the four years over which the scholarship is distributed. The scholarship is paid out in equal installments of $2,500 and the applicant must plan on applying for financial assistance in order to attend college. Semi-finalists will be notified by e-mail and finalists are interviewed in person or via video conference.
Must have attended Rivers Edge ES for at least 2 years, possess good character, citizenship and be involved in community service. See high school guidance counselor for application.
