Virginia Water Environmental Association – Sonny Roden Memorial Scholarship
The Sonny Roden Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually by VWEA to a full or part time graduate student who is a member of VWEA and attending school in Virginia currently and in the upcoming Fall semester. Judging of the applicants is performed by the VWEA Student Activities Committee and based on merit. Requirements include a one-page resume indicating academic and extracurricular performance and activities, and either a reference letter from an instructor or professor or a one-page essay on a wastewater topic of your choice. One must supply an up-to-date transcript or official semester schedule of school currently attending and a completed VWEA Student Scholarship application.
