Virginia Association for Family and Community Education – Mrs. Guy Roof Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to a mature adult who is currently in school or who has been accepted for the first time to complete or improve education in any field. The applicant must also be a resident of Virginia and citizen of the U.S., have plans for improving competencies in present areas of employment or developing skills for gainful employment in a chosen field, have plans to attend a Virginia school offering an accredited course in that chosen field, and be in need of financial assistance.
